Secret E.P Launch Party

Secret EP Launch Party 21st July 2006

It was a very hot and sticky one, we managed to cram the back room of the Jug and Jester full of people, we only had 2 fans to start with but the friend of the band Ed Holmes let us borrow 2 air con units and 3 other fans from his office in town.

Ben Clempson Opened up, followed by Kingtide who rocked pretty hard as usual, I did my usual stage crashing on “push it away”, it was the last ever song we did when I was in Kingtide.

Then it was our turn to shine….ooops, first tune and both me and Kev break strings! We managed to blag the next couple of tunes without the acoustic, then during the first solo of sit tight, I took off the broken string. Then on the 2nd solo, managed to put one back on, phew!

After us both C*Bob and Don’t move rocked the night away with their blues tunes. Everyone had a great night, everyone played well and we shifted loads of CD’s

I feel it is really coming together now as a band, the whole package is looking very attractive, now need to decide about setting up our own record label or trying to sign to one. The response we get now is massive and overwhelming and would be a shame to waste what we have. It’s time to attack the bussiness!
